Carl
and Cookie Bamert started growing grass seed on their
small
West Texas farm in 1951. As their family grew so did their
production of native grasses. Most cultivars come
from several plant material centers throughout the U.S.
Each cultivar is adapted to a specific area or region. Our
dry arid climate provides excellent growing conditions
and supplemental irrigation produces large seed that we
feel are more vigorous.
We
monitor the fields on a daily basis and are able to maintain
a very high standard of quality throughout the growing and
conditioning process. Since we are farmers we will
continually strive to pass the savings on to you.
Our goal is to produce the highest quality native seeds
for your ease of establishment and the protection of the
environment.
