Remarks :

Growth up to 120 feet tall, but generally under 70 feet tall. This deciduous tree is known to reach an age of 300 years or more. Flowers February to April, fruit ripens March to June. Adapted to moist soils of bottomlands and upland flats on the east side of the Panhandle along the Canadian, Washita, and Wolf Creek.
