Remarks :

Bitterweed is a yellow-flowered, annual
weed varying in height from a few inches
to 2 feet. It is erect and branches from the
base. This plant is toxic to livestock, primarily
sheep. It is a major problem in the southwest.
Cattle are occasionally poisoned when
this plant is present and there is a shortage of
other green forage.
