Remarks :

Widely distributed throughout Texas, adapted
to prairies, upland sites, or open roadsides. Also
known as, "Cut-leaf daisy". Grows 1 – 3 feet tall,
flowers May to August. The ray flower tips will
curl during hot weather. This plant has a woody
tap root. This plant is preferred by livestock, and
will disappear from overgrazed areas. Deer relish
this plant in the spring during early growth.
