Remarks :

Other common names, "Texas spiderwort" and
"Prairie spiderwort". Growth 8 to 20 inches,
flowers May to August. Wildlife and livestock
will graze this plant. Several Native American
tribes used the young shoots of this plant for
food. Adapted to sandy or rocky soils of the
plains and prairies.
