Remarks :

This low growing grass grows on a wide variety
of soils, but grows best on loams to clay loams.
Curly mesquite is highly drought tolerant and
reproduces by seeds, tillers, and stolons. This
grass is grazed yearlong by horses, cattle, sheep,
goats, antelope, and deer.
