Remarks :

This annual grass can be found throughout
most of Texas in waste places, disturbed
sites, open rangeland and along roadside
ditches. Especially adapted to alkaline soils.
Greens up very early in the spring and
matures to a straw colored yellow quickly.
This grass provides very little grazing to
livestock and wildlife.
