Remarks :

This is a small grass with short leaves that
taper to a sharp point. The seeds are open
bell-shaped clusters along the seedhead.
Texas grama is a low quality forage plant,
little value to livestock and wildlife. Adapted
to open prairies and savannahs, prefers
disturbed sites.
