Remarks :

Also known as, "Thin paspalum". Adapted to open grasslands and wooded sites in sandy and loamy textured soils. Seedheads consist of 1–5 branches with round and flattened seeds that occur in two rows along the inflorescence branch. The leaves are often hairy and branched. Tolerant of shade; reproduces by seeds, tillers, and rhizomes. Provides only fair forage value to livestock and wildlife. Quail will use the seed as a food source when this plant is available.
