Remarks :
Common name, "Small soapweed yucca". Short
stemmed, 1 ft. tall. Flowers May to July, white
blooms that are fragrant. The fruit is a large,
oblong cylinder shape. Deer and livestock will
readily browse the blooms. Southwest Indians
made soap from the ground up roots. Adapted to
badlands, dry plains, and sand-hills.
