Remarks :

A hardy medium sized tree adapted to dry sites. Extensively planted in the prairie- plains region as shelter belts and along side roadways. One of the most abundant trees planted in the Texas Panhandle. Flowers March to April with the fruit maturing April to May. Siberian elm is a native of Asia, and it is rather drought resistant. This tree has some use as wildlife cover.
